Kristen Reiner is an Australian-born visual artist based in Vancouver, BC. Kristen has developed a geometric abstract style that draws influence from Modernist architecture, art and design. Kristen works in a variety of mediums including paint, graphite and collage, forming shapes that are characterized by clean lines, rich colours and balanced compositions. The artist has most recently been exploring the concept of perceived control in motherhood. Surrendering to the unpredictability inherent in raising a child, her art has become a container for her want of perfectionism.
